Interchangeable Mower Deck

All mower decks will fit on all of the tractors.  However, the GHS decks will not function on SD tractors and, obviously, large decks do not work well on lower horsepower tractors.  Interchangeable decks offer extra seasonal use or multiple mowing applications for the Walker.  Each deck is designed specifically for optimum performance in the collection, mulch or side-discharge configuration.

Tilt-Up Deck

Easy deck cleaning and underside maintenance are offered by the tilt-up deck (standard on all decks). A hinged deck carrier frame, large retractable handle on deck front and roller wheels on the back provide quick, easy tilt-up of the deck assembly. One person can tilt the deck up and then lower it to the normal operating position in less than 15 seconds. For safety, the cutter blades are automatically locked and cannot be operated in the tilt-up position. A retrofit kit is available to install the tilt-up option on earlier models with 36", 42", 48" or 54" decks.

Boom Sprayer Attachment

If there is mowing, there usually is a need for spraying. The Boom Sprayer easily mounts on all 42" and larger decks and offers a 96" spray pattern. A spray gun with a 20-ft hose and adjustable spray tip allow the operator to spray a mist or adjust to a 35-ft stream. The 25-gallon tank contains a sump that allows easy cleaning of the tank and spray system. Note: Mounting to the 52- and 62-inch carrier frames requires ordering two P/N B037 Rear Sprayer Supports.

Curb Jumper Ramp

Molded polypropylene, 40-inch wide curb ramp allows all Walker models to easily back over a standard curb for access to curbed areas. And when not in use, the ramp stows on the 42- and 48-inch decks as an expanded footrest. In fact, some customers report the footrest function is more important to them than the ramp. Designed with molded handle for easy lifting and carrying.

40" Spring Tine Dethatcher

A favorite tool for spring clean up, the Dethatcher easily clips on the front of 36-, 42- or 48-inch decks without fasteners or tools. When used with the GHS vacuum, lawn thatch and debris are removed and collected in one pass. A lift lever with foot trigger raises and lowers the dethatcher.

Coulter Blade Edger

The Edger uses a self-tracking coulter disc on a swing arm to smoothly and quickly trim grass along the concrete edge of sidewalks, curbs and walking paths. Simple mechanical blade engagement (no hydraulics) and a single-point, quick-mount bracket on the Model MT and MD tractor make this an easy-to-use attachment. Capable of edging 3 to 4 miles per hour.

Quick-Change Implement Hitch System

Five implements mount interchangeably on the Walker tractor using the quick-change hitch system. The hitch assembly replaces the mower deck and installs on the tractor in less than a minute. Implements then slide onto the hitch and lock in place with the flip of a lever for true “quick change” capability. The hitch assembly also includes operator footrests and an electric power lift - just the touch of a switch raises and lowers implements. The lift control switch is quadrant mounted on the Forward Speed Control lever for convenient operation.

42" Two-Stage Snowblower

The powerful, high production, two-stage 42” snow blower throws snow up to 40 feet and is recommended for Model MD and MT tractors. Quick, easy operation is enhanced by power lift (hitch system) and adjusting the discharge spout 180° from the operator seat. Optional Operator Soft-Cab is recommended to offer all-weather capability with the snow blower. Tail weight recommended.

Rotary Broom

A rotary broom with 47-inch sweeping path and five-position angle head is ideal for lawn dethatching and raking, and for sweeping debris or light snow on hard surfaces. In addition to dethatching turf, the broom does a great job of sweeping and removing gravel and debris from turf along roads, paths, and playing fields.
Down pressure is spring weighted and is adjustable for best sweeping action and minimum brush wear. Includes parking stands to protect bristles when not in use. Optional gauge wheels recommended for lawn dethatching to control depth of engagement. Tail weight recommended.

BedShaper® Attachment for Walker Mowers

Loader Bucket

A versatile tool for landscaping work, the loader bucket will push, scoop, haul and grade dirt, gravel and mulch. Lifts approximately 180-lbs and 2-1/4 cubic feet of material with 14" ground clearance for transport. Bucket has a high-strength steel cutting edge and tilting action uses a 500-lb electric ram.
